How much are my closing costs when selling/buying a home in Florida? On average, the SELLERS CLOSING CLOSTS are approx. 1.5% and the BUYER CLOSING COSTS are approx. 3.5%
What is the process for buying a home?
-First you must get pre-approved.
-Once you find a home, I will negotiate your contract.
-Once you have a signed contract, you will need to do the following----
1. Put a 1st and 2nd deposit down. 1st(within 3days) 2nd (typically within 10 days)
2. Make application with lender(which is typically done when you get pre approved so you are ready to go).
3. If there is an association, you must make application with condo or HOA
4. Order Inspection(usually done within 7-10 days of effective date).
5. Lender will order appraisal on the home and work on your loan.
6. Title does their part, makes sure you have a clear title and handles closing documents.
7. Once all of this is done, you have a successful closing 😊
